Consultancy KM&T in US expansion

A Midland firm has announced plans to expand into North America in a move which could create up to 50 jobs.

Coventry-based consultancy firm KM&T is opening a new office in Coventry’s twin city Windsor, Canada.

The new branch is a strategic expansion for the company, having already opened offices in Europe, Australia, Singapore and New Zealand.

Highlighting the links between the two cities, Scott Middleton, managing director for Canada, said: “We first heard about Windsor when one of our directors met the mayor on his trade visit to Coventry. With its manufacturing heritage, the city seemed like a natural fit for our business.

“We’ve already won business in Canada, and we hope to expand our client base over the coming months. We worked closely with Windsor’s mayor and that was a major factor in deciding where to locate.”

The expansion could create 50 jobs, as well a number of administrative roles at KM&T’s Coventry head office.
