Land Rover deal with Birmingham Airport for safety car

Jaguar Land Rover has agreed a deal with Birmingham Airport to supply support vehicles.

To mark the beginning of the arrangement, the airport last week took delivery of four Land Rover Discovery 4s which will provide support to the airfield safety unit in its daily patrol duties.

The agreement with the car giant will also see its branding used throughout the region’s largest aeronautic hub.

Will Heynes, the airport’s operations director, said: “Being a major local employer and neighbour of the airport, we’ve always had a close relationship with Land Rover but this is the first time we’ve entered into a tangible partnership.”

In addition to the airside support vehicles, Jaguar Land Rover branding will soon feature on ten air bridges operating from the new multi million pound transit gates and across the airport’s fleet of airside passenger transfer buses.
