IT firm First Class moves to aid growth plans

An IT company has moved to a new state-of-the-art headquarters as part of a £40,000 project to boost growth plans.

Lichfield MP Michael Fabricant MP has officially opened a new 3,500 sq ft premises for IT solutions provider First Class Technologies.

The new facility on Britannia Enterprise Park has become the latest home for the company, which has been based in Lichfield for the past 14 years.

Black Country Reinvestment Society (BCRS) in conjunction with Staffordshire County Council supported the £40,000 project with a £20,000 loan to assist with the design and refurbishment of the property, with funding from their joint initiative the Staffordshire Business Support Fund (SBSF).

The company specialises in the provision of complete computer solutions for both the business and education sectors having maintained steady growth despite recent economic challenging times.

Managing director Richard Hinton said: “We have moved to a purpose designed facility in order to support a phase of managed growth as we had gradually outgrown our original offices in Lichfield.
