Birmingham Science Park Aston-based life science company DiscoveRx has marked its most successful year to date, reporting European revenue of £4.2 million – an almost 40 per cent increase over the previous year.
The company, which has been a resident of the Science Park since it was established in 2001, develops products using innovative technology that assist pharmaceutical companies in creating new effective medicines thus novel medical treatment of diseases.

A fully-owned subsidiary of a parent company in the US, DiscoveRx employs a team of 18 sales people throughout Europe, with a core team of three office-based staff who have headquartered at Birmingham Science Park Aston since the company launched in July 2001.
DiscoveRx also reported a 65 per cent increase in product units shipped, from 560 to 922 units.
