Brindleyplace landlord Argent has shown its commitment to the estate’s latest landmark development by relocating its Birmingham office to Eleven Brindleyplace.
Argent’s ten-strong team has moved across the Central Square at Brindleyplace from its Water’s Edge office above Café Rouge, to the new development opposite City Inn hotel.
Argent has taken occupation of a mezzanine level office positioned above the Eleven Brindleyplace reception area and business lounge.
“We are delighted to be the first tenants at Eleven Brindleyplace, a building which has played a huge part in our working lives over the past three years,” said Gary Taylor, joint managing director of Argent (UK Developments).
“The company has come a long way since starting out with a Portakabin on the barren Brindleyplace site back in 1993 and taking occupancy within this final and highly innovative building on the estate is a fitting reflection of where we stand today.”
Argent will be joined by the building’s first major tenant, Colliers CRE, which will occupy 5,600 sq ft of office space, later this summer. The building offers 107,000 sq ft of grade A BREEAM ‘Excellent’ office space.
Architect Glenn Howells, who designed Eleven Brindleyplace, will oversee a new bar/restaurant at the site, due to open in autumn 2009.
