The company that is bringing a two high-profile restaurants and three different hotels to Birmingham has announced plans to launch a private members club at The Cube.
Sanguine Hospitality is launching the 5,000 sq ft canal-side bar at The Cube next to Adee Phelan’s new salon and a new Brazilian restaurant on the sixth floor which it hopes will bring an exclusive touch.
Sanguine is also behind the Marco Pierre White restaurant on the top floor of the Cube as well as the Indigo hotel on the two floors below and a ground floor health club and spa.
Elsewhere in the city it is working with various parties on transforming Cumberland House on Broad Street and the Kennedy Tower in Snow Hill into hotels.
Sanguine boss Nick Taplin said: “When investing in the Cube our intentions were always to introduce an exciting new concept to Birmingham. We have created a complete leisure destination.”
Cube director Neil Edginton added: “We really wanted something top notch like Soho House in London and Sanguine have brought the concept and a model that will work.
“We are not talking something that nobody can afford but it will be for members, so if your name’s not down you won’t be coming in. It’s a place that people can go after dinner without booming dance music and two for one offers and just relax or do some business.”
