Andy Peebles to present Smooth Radio evening show

Smooth Radio in the West Midlands is bringing in ex-Radio 1 presenter Andy Peebles to present its weekday evening show from today .

The new show, networked from the north-west, will broadcast every Monday to Friday from 8pm until midnight across the West Midlands and on five additional Smooth Radio stations across the country. It will replace another networked show, presented by Steve Wells.

Peebles’ Saturday night Soul Train, which already broadcasts across the West Midlands, will also change its times to 8pm until midnight, with the 6pm-8pm slot filled by Motown classics presented by Dave Brown.
