Fashion designer Sulaimi Brookman set to launch spring collection

Birmingham-based fashion designer Sulaimi Brookman is set to launch his first ready-to-wear collection for Spring 2009.

Since moving to Birmingham 18 months ago and starting his business from a studio in The Custard Factory, Sulaimi has dressed celebrities such as Atomic Kitten’s Liz McClarnon.

Part of the inspiration for his new collection came from French queen Marie Antoinette, combined with themes from the film Dangerous Liaisons
