Warwickshire real ale brewers determined to cheer the nation

Communications agency Rees Bradley Hepburn has helped Warwickshire-based Church End Brewery create two recession-busting real ales.

Named Hoptomist and Quantitative Easing, the two ales are designed to be the antidote to the recession blues.

The ales form part of a new series of beers being launched by the brewery which will also include Recession, Depression and Downturn. To celebrate the introduction of the beers, RBH have designed a series of posters and promotional material that poke fun at the recession and give real-ale drinkers a reason to smile during the difficult times.

RBH chairman Tim Rees said: “I’ve suspected beer would be the solution to the economic crisis for some time, so I was delighted that Church End Brewery were able to prove me right.

“They’ve produced some fine real ales and we’re thrilled to have been asked to help launch them.”
