Directors launch merged creative consultancy
Two marketing specialists have merged their firms to create a new consultancy.
Jason Church and Phil Elwell have launched marketing strategy and creative consultancy Traffic, which is based at The Bond in Digbeth.
Within just a few days of setting up the new business they secured four new contracts, including an NHS-facing e-commerce portal and a software product launch.
Mr Elwell, former owner of Code Marketing, a strategic marketing consultancy, and Mr Church, former director of Positive K brand and design agency, recognised that combining their experience and expertise made sense.
Mr Church has led creative campaigns for clients including Harrods and BT, while Mr Elwell honed his skills in marketing management at Barclays and Millward Brown, part of the WPP global group of marketing companies.
Mr Elwell said: “We find that clients value the diverse but complementary skill set that we offer in marketing strategy, brand and creative.
“Some of our clients have marketing people in place but still value our broad creative experience and the fact that we have several years’ client-side, as well as agency, experience.”
