Ex-RBH trio launch new agency

A trio of former employees of Meriden-based advertising agency RBH have launched their own agency.

Plain English, based in Warwickshire, consists of former RBH group account director Lorraine Hampson and senior creative team members Paul Brookes and Nigel Thomas, who left RBH last year.

The trio worked together at RBH on accounts including Eveden lingerie, Hyundai and Highcross Leicester.

The new agency has already secured seven clients, the most recent of which is the international lingerie company Panache which has appointed Plain English to work on the development of all five of their brands, including a suite of brochures for both consumers and the trade.

The full-service agency is positioning itself as a flexible, lean and responsive outfit.

Ms Hampson said: “In times like these agencies need to be adaptable.

“We have a strong core team with proven creative and strategic credentials, and we also have a strong network of specialists to call on to ensure we always have the right skills for any particular project.”
