Rave Communications selected for cinema rebrand

Rave Communications has been brought in by cinema firms Showcase and Showcase Cinema de Lux to drive a creative rebrand following a competitive pitch.

The creative brief for the 21 locations across the UK will be a strategic rebrand of all in-cinema materials, including posters, flyers, monthly movie guide and other collateral promoting the cinema experience at the firms.

The brief also covers all brand extension materials, such as the ‘Showcase Live’ offering which includes opera, ballet, music, sport and comedy events and screenings.

Rave’s managing director John Wilford said: “We are really excited to be working with Showcase Cinemas.

“Much of their offering is unique in the UK and we have some innovative ideas lined up to take this established chain and give it a fresh look and feel. We’ve very much looking forward to the future partnership.”

UK director of sales and marketing at Showcase Cinemas Jon Dixon said: “We were impressed with what Rave had to offer in terms of creative design and the innovative ideas they brought to the table.

Rave also holds the PR account for Showcase and Showcase Cinema de Lux.
