Volvo Trucks is using social media to make new connections with the help of NC Creative Group.
The agency said the recent contract win reflected the Solihull and London-based firm’s expanding social media offer, following the promotion of David Leatham to social media specialist and account manager.
Amanda Hiatt, marketing and PR director of Volvo Trucks UK and Ireland, said: “We are excited about the impact NC Creative’s social media activity has already had on direct engagement and dialogue with our target audience groups.
“Based on evaluations of activity to date, social media is set to become an important part of our communications strategy going forward.”
The social media campaign features a wide variety of topics targeting drivers and owners and has included discussions, blogs, news releases and video content concerning fuel efficiency, alternative fuel strategy and specific truck models.
