PR agency celebrates as two retail contracts won

Edgbaston-based Willoughby’s retail PR team is toasting the win of two well-known retail accounts as well as retaining the Sharps account for an eighth year.

Following a competitive pitch, the agency has been appointed by high street brand Regis hair salons to help drive footfall across the UK, raise awareness of the brand and work with the in-house team to retain and reward existing clients.

The team has already started work on the account.

And one of the UK’s busiest shopping centres, Lakeside in Essex, has appointed Willoughby PR (WPR) to work on a summer holidays project highlighting the centre as a complete destination for food, fashion and entertainment as it celebrates its 21st birthday this year.

WPR has also been reappointed by the Sharps brand following the collapse of the Homeform Group last month.

Sharps has been bought out of administration by a new company owned by an affiliate of Sun European partners, which is part of the Sun Capital Partners parent company.

The firm has asked WPR to continue to support the brand’s fitted bedroom and home office ranges through a national campaign, as well as continuing to provide local level support for the 96 stores around the country.
