New appointment at Barclays
Doug Woodhouse has been appointed as Barclays business banking area manager for the East Birmingham and Solihull area.
He will be responsible for managing a team of 15 business managers across the area, who manage the accounts of established businesses and start-ups with turnover levels ranging from nominal levels to more than £1 million.
Mr Woodhouse has a wealth of experience having spent the last eight years working in the local business market and prior to that of running a family business.
He said: “I am hugely excited by the challenges of the role and the business potential within the area.
“I would like to extend my thanks to the local businesses that I have already come into contact with, for their encouragement, support and feedback, and look forward to speaking to more and more business leaders over the coming weeks.”
