Birmingham Future goes medieval for its annual ball
Birmingham Future will be transporting its members back to the Middle Ages at its annual ball this year.
The organisation, which represents young professionals, will be serving up an evening of mirth and merriment at the medieval-themed event at the Botanical Gardens on Friday, February 20.
Guests will enjoy a medieval banquet and entertainment from Warwick Castle, including jesters. The ball, sponsored by law firm Mills & Reeve, Advantage West Midlands and Crosby Lend Lease, will be compered by Heart FM Breakfast presenter Ed James.
Matt Taylor, Birmingham Future chairman, said: “The annual ball is always one of the best events in the Future calendar and this year’s promises to be a ‘knight’ to remember. In a difficult 12 months for many in the business community, it is an opportunity to relax and party with fellow young professionals. The emphasis is firmly set on having a good time.”
Birmingham Future will be raising money for Birmingham Community Foundation on the night with a prize raffle draw. The money raised will go to Birmingham Future’s own fund, the Future Foundation, which aims to support education, employment and training community projects.
Tickets are currently on sale for the annual ball. For further information contact Isabel Drabble at Birmingham Future by email at Isabel@birminghamforward.co.uk
