A travel management company has secured a host of new contracts worth more than £1 million after seeing an upturn in demand.
Leamington-based Travel Management Group has started work for 14 new businesses in the past three months, across the UK.
Director of business travel David Moore said the company, which organises business travel across the UK and internationally, had seen a strong upturn in inquiries since the summer and he believes the latest surge is a sign of firms beginning to beat the recession.
He said: “It’s obviously great news for us to agree contracts with so many new clients and it’s showing that the market is starting to become revitalised.
“Many of these firms are small or medium sized businesses looking to either break into or re-establish international trade.
“Twelve months ago, much of the focus was on how people could save and consolidate. Now we’re seeing businesses focusing on trying to create new revenue streams both at home and abroad.
“China features as one of the key destinations for a number of these new companies, along with regular visits throughout Europe.”
