A Black Country manufacturing firm which makes and distributes 4x4 accessories is expanding its premises after seeing a 40 per cent increase in sales last year.
Auto Styling Truckman is adding 15,000 sq ft next to its exisiting facility in Brierley Hill, to grow its manufacturing operations and provide additional storage space.
The company, which was founded in 2002 by entrepreneur Mike Wheeler and is celebrating 10 years in business, has a turnover of £5 million and employs 29 staff.
The expansion follows a boost in demand for its range of hardtops for pick-up trucks, which it manufactures in the UK under the Truckman brand.
Auto Styling acquired Truckman after it rescued the hardtop manufacturer from administration in 2008.
Mr Wheeler, managing director of Auto Styling, said: “Any business that achieves this kind of milestone can be proud of their achievements, especially considering the wider economic challenges facing the country.
“I am particularly proud to have built upon the great Truckman name and its excellent heritage to not only continue the brand’s legacy, but ensure they continue to be manufactured in the UK.”
