Innovative UK firms are being offered the chance to win a £10,000 business grant – and help celebrate the forthcoming BT Business Experience from June 29 to July 3 in Farringdon, London.
A panel of judges, including the managing director of BT Business Bill Murphy, will select a start-up company who in their view has a small business that is not only innovative but also requires a boost to get to the next level. Bill Murphy said: “Small businesses are vital to the UK economy, particularly in the current climate – so we at BT Business feel it is vital to support this community by providing opportunities like this.
“The free, week-long BT Business Experience has been specifically created to show businesses how the very latest technology and business thinking can help them manage their costs, market their business more effectively and make them more competitive, especially in the current environment.
“We are now also offering this business grant as an extra boost to this vital community.”
Entries to the competition can be made either at the free BT Business Experience or online at www.btbusinessexperience.com/grant
A shortlist of finalists will be selected by a judging panel with the company that demonstrates the best ability to progress with the business grant chosen as the ultimate winner.
The winning business will also be eligible for a complete free audit of their information technology and communications systems by BT Business experts.
The free week-long BT Business Experience is an all-new event taking place in central London and is specifically created for small businesses.
Visitors have the opportunity to meet directly with leading business experts throughout the week to get advice and unearth new opportunities for their company to get ahead in the current environment.
There are also a series of free seminars on a range of topics including marketing your business and controlling costs.
