Microchip maker Wolfson warns of uncertainty

Chipmaker Wolfson Microelectronics warned of lingering uncertainty in consumer markets today despite better than expected results.
The Edinburgh-based firm, said second-quarter revenues rose 32 per cent on the first three months of 2009. But the jump mainly reflected aggressive de-stocking earlier in the year as its customers used up stockpiles.
