Employees at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) have donated funds and their time to support a charity.
Members of the bank’s Birmingham Mortgage Centre have helped clear new flower beds at Birmingham’s John Taylor Hospice in Erdington and raised £500 for the hospice.
Stephen Laing, from RBS, said: “It has been hard work but great fun.
“We have also learnt a lot more about the work of the hospice, including the fact that it often has patients of our own age to care for.”
Ray Woods, from the League of Friends of the Hospice, said: “It is great to have young people giving up their time to help the hospice. The money from the bank is very much appreciated and will go towards new plants and shrubs.”
