Pie sale raises Acorns Children’s Hospice cash

Staff at Hartlebury based CP Foods have been busy filling their bellies in order to raise vital funds for charity.

After recently committing to raise funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice in Birmingham, CP Foods kickstarted its fundraising by holding a coffee morning at its Hartlebury Trading Estate site.

Homemade mince pies and cakes were on sale as staff enjoyed festive treats while supporting a worthwhile cause, as CP raised £193, with all Christmas card donations also being made to Acorns Children’s Hospice.

John Vincent, HR and finance director from CP Foods said: “Ever since making the decision to support Acorn we have all been keen to kickstart fundraising activities. I am delighted with how much we have managed to raise and am looking forward to more money-spinning activities in the near future.”

Acorns provides care and support for children and young people who have life limiting or life threatening conditions.
