Members of Little Aston Golf Club have shown their support for marathon man Karl Hinett by raising thousands of pounds to help burns patients.

Ex-soldier Mr Hinett is running 52 marathons around the world this year in aid of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham’s official charity.

The 23-year-old from Tipton recently visited the club and chairman Geoff Hands presented him with another cheque from their fundraising events, bringing their total donation to £2,569.
