A team from Solihull-based energy software developer Contigo have raised more than £1,000 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital’s Children’s Heart Appeal.

The money will help the charitable cause which is looking to replace the existing ageing cardiac facility, and build a second specialist operating theatre.

The nine-strong team – which sported tutus in ‘Contigo Racing Green’ – completed the 5km course at the recent Blythe Valley Fun Run, and managed to smash their initial fundraising target.
