Dear Editor, I cannot comment on individual tie-agreements between pub-owning companies and their tenants (‘Enterprise plans fail to convince Fair Pint’, Post Business, July 1) but what I glean from talking to pub tenants is they appear to be in their present predicament because of pub -owning companies being too greedy, high business rates, high rents and government interference (smoking ban). Dear Editor, In that the opposition parties have used the financial crisis for tit-for-tat politics and neither of them could have organised the G20 except in their wildest daydreams, and one at least, wrapped up in its Little Englandism, doesn’t seem to have the vaguest understanding of its importance, it’s possible to have some sympathy with Mr Brown.
