Appeal for information on a brothers of great grandfather
Dear Editor, As part of my family tree research, I am trying to find out more information about one of the brothers of my great grandfather.
The brother in question was called James Haymes, born in Birmingham in 1881. He married Amy Allcock in 1905 also in Birmingham where they had four children called Alfred Norman, James Henry, Stanley Francis and Leslie. James Haymes later remarried to either Ethel or May Stafford who had two children called Queenie M and Victor G.
I am particularly interested in contacting the direct descendents of James Henry Haymes and Stanley Francis Haymes since it appears that these two siblings spent all their lives in Birmingham. James Henry Haymes married Ruth Grady in 1928 and had I believe four children called Brian F, James E H, Patricia and Anthony J. Stanley Francis Haymes married Lily Bunn in 1935 and appears to have had three children by the names of Sylvia, Derek S and Robert J.
I also believe that James Henry Haymes remarried in 1950 to Frances Garrison.
It would be much appreciated if any descendents of the aforementioned named people or anyone else who recognises any descendents of these named people could contact me.
