The West Midlands business community were out in force for the re-launch of the newly refurbished Crowne Plaza in Birmingham city centre.

Hundreds attended the event which was hosted by BBC Midlands presenter Nick Owen while the entertainment was provided by musicians from the world-famous Philharmonic Orchestra.

The hotel was officially re-launched by the Lord Mayor, Cou Chauhdry Rashid, who unveiled a plaque to mark the occasion.
