Birmingham City have completed the signing of striker James McFadden for an initial fee of £4.75 million from Everton. The fee will rise by a further £1 million through add-ons.
The 24-year-old Scottish international agreed terms and passed a medical yesterday and will be unveiled at a press conference at St Andrew's this afternoon.
McFadden, who played under Blues boss Alex McLeish for the Scottish national team, will go straight into the squad for the visit of Chelsea tomorrow.
