Martin O'Neill looks to the future of Aston Villa

Martin O’Neill has assured his young squad players that they do have a vital future at the club and that the only reason their appearances in claret and blue in the Barclays Premier League have been limited thus far is because of the quality internationals ahead of them.
The Aston Villa boss is adamant his rising young Academy stars are part of his plans having broken into the first team squad whether it be in the club’s short European crusade or in the Carling Cup. He insists all of them will see their chance come again.
Lisa Smith will be online at 1pm today for a live Q&A with Villa fans - www.birminghampost.net/live
O’Neill has been impressed by the likes of Marc Albrighton, Nathan Delfouneso, Ciaran Clark and Shane Lowry and believes they should take heart even when they are forced to sit on the bench because he has now assembled a top quality squad full of experienced players many with international careers to boot.
