McLeish hopeful of sealing Craig Gardner move to Birmingham City today
Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish is confident Aston Villa midfielder Craig Gardner will finally complete his move to St Andrew's later today.
Blues have agreed a fee of around £3.5million for the England Under-21 player, who has also passed a medical.
Gardner was this morning finalising personal terms but McLeish has said: "We are very hopeful it will be tied up today. We are confident he will be a Birmingham player by the end of today. He will be a quality signing."
