Carson Yeung will not be present at Birmingham City's Europa League match against SC Braga after all.

The Blues president has had his travel plans blocked after a judicial review and has no choice but to stay in Hong Kong to attend to further club and business affairs.

Over the past few days considerable doubt grew over whether Yeung would indeed come back.

Club officials were in the dark as to Yeung's intentions and sources in the Far East suggested that Yeung had changed his mind anyway before this latest development in court.

Yeung has been charged with money laundering and had successfully fought to get his bail conditions relaxed, allowing him to return to the UK.

But the intended five-day trip - taking in the Europa League match - is off.
