Marcel Garvey back for Worcester Warriors against Sale Sharks

Marcel Garvey will play his first match of the season for Worcester tomorrow having been named in the side to face Sale Sharks in the rearragned Guinness Premiership fixture.

The 26-year-old has not played at all since a friendly against Ulster in August after which he was diagnosed with a degenerative blood disorder that affected his hip and could have forced him to have the joint replaced.

But after returning to training since Christmas the former Gloucester man is fit to take Charlie Fellows' place as Warriors try to break a three-game losing streak at home to Philippe Saint-Andre's side.

Lock Will Bowley is also named in the line-up after a try scoring show against Petrarca Rugby last weekend while back row dynamo Tom Wood is named on the replacements bench after recovering from shoulder surgery.

Ryan Powell is recalled to scrum half and Netani Talei to the back row as director of rugby Mike Ruddock makes a total of four changes from the team that oon last weekend in Europe.

Supporters are advised that tickets purchased for the original date remain valid for the rearranged game. Tickets also remain on sale from 01905 454183 or online at www.warriors.co.uk.
