West Brom boss expects duo to plug gap

WEST Bromwich Albion will hope to have Gianni Zuiverloon and new signing Gonzalo Jara available next weekend after losing Shaun Cummings to Reading.
The Chelsea right-back was due to sign an extension to his loan deal, keeping him at The Hawthorns until the end of 2009.
But Albion missed out as Reading moved in to secure him on a permanent undisclosed deal just before yesterday’s tea-time transfer deadline, with the process finally being rubber-stamped late last night and confirmed by the Royals this morning.
Even so Roberto Di Matteo will be heartened by the likely return of Zuiverloon from a hamstring injury for next Saturday’s game against Plymouth.
And the club also hope to have Jara’s international clearance through.
