Joss Labadie’s loan at Shrewsbury Town was also exptended until the end of 2009.

Meanwhile, reports in the south west claim Albion have been keeping tabs on Exeter City starlet Liam Sercombe.

The 19-year-old has played 42 times, scoring twice, for the League One club.

*Albion have announced that their Carling Cup third round trip to Arsenal will take place on Tuesday, September 22 (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Baggies have been allocated 5,100 tickets for the Emirates Stadium encounter, priced £10 adults and £5 concessions.

Tickets will go on sale to away season ticket holders this Friday, before going on sale to home season ticket holders next Thursday.
