West Brom: Marc-Antoine Fortuné has no plans to leave

Marc-Antoine Fortune

MARC-Antoine Fortuné has no plans to leave Albion, despite speculation over his future.

The 30-year-old has found first-team opportunities hard to come by this season because of a knee problem and the arrival of Shane Long.

The striker has played just 13 minutes for Albion in the Premier League this season, coming on as a late substitute against Stoke.

Fortuné was linked with a move to Doncaster earlier this week and while Albion are happy to send him out on loan, the ex-Celtic man would rather fight for his place at The Hawthorns.

And with Long injured, Fortuné accepts he has every chance of forcing his way into the picture – not least after scoring twice for the reserves in a 4-0 win against Chelsea on Tuesday.

“I’m a West Brom player,” said Fortuné.
