ROY Hodgson had mixed injury news following Albion’s victory against Cardiff.

The Baggies boss might have to make do without Gareth McAuley who fell victim to a calf strain.

But on a brighter note, Jonas Olsson hopes to be back for the Norwich game this Saturday.

Speaking about McAuley, Hodgson said: “He’s got a calf strain.

“That’s the price you pay for playing Everton and then Tottenham two days later.

“He worked very hard to keep Tottenham out for 90 minutes.

“We didn’t quite succeed but we made a very good fist of it.

“Then four days later he’s asked to play another game.

“Unfortunately, these things catch up.

“It caught two of the Tottenham players out and now it’s caught one of our players out.”
