Wolves: Mick Mccarthy bemoans referee's decisions

FRANK Lampard’s yellow card had Mick McCarthy bemoaning more refereeing inconsistencies.

“I don’t want anyone else’s players sent off,” said the Wolves boss.

“You know my beef with the authorities because of Nenad Milijas being sent off.

‘‘I think people saw me speak long and weary the other day when I made my point about the Milijas challenge because that was pertinent to me.

“Nenad shouldn’t have been sent off and every referee I’ve spoken to has said exactly the same. I said at the time that people can make a mistake on the pitch because it’s a really difficult place to work out there with that atmosphere.

“I understand that but what I’ll never understand is three people sitting down and deciding it was a good decision and the right decision. That was the point I made.

“Everyone I think agreed with me, except the people that matter.

“Somebody said it (Lampard’s tackle) was a sending off but I’m not really interested in that.
