WOLVES boss Stale Solbakken has warned he is in no mood to lose his star players as Steven Fletcher distanced himself from talk of a transfer request.
Fletcher, Matt Jarvis and Kevin Doyle all form part of the Norwegian’s plans – although he admits money will inevitably hold sway.
“I feel really positive," Solbakken said at the opening of the new Molineux Megastore. "The problem is I’ve lost my suitcase but other than that everything is fine!”
“I will talk to all the players when they come in one-to-one. But that’s normal and not anything to do with players leaving.
“Fletcher and Doyle are experienced players we want to continue having here.
“But everyone knows that in football money talks so I can’t promise anything. They are players of great value for us and at this moment in time they are Wolves players.
“And I hope they will be at the start of the season.”
Solbakken dismissed recent speculation about Fletcher.
