Plans for flats on former Midland ambulance base set for go-ahead

Plans to bulldoze a former Midland ambulance base and replace it with 14 flats are set to be approved.

Proposals for the vacant Tettenhall Ambulance Station site in Regis Road, Wolverhampton have already been given the thumbs-up by city council planning officers.

Brewood-based Four Petals Properties will hear on January 8, when the city’s planning committee meets, whether its scheme will get the go-ahead.

The council received 30 letters of objection to the plans, citing issues such as over-development and overloading of the public sewer. But planning officer Morgan Jones said the site was suitable.
