European elections: West Midlands result
The Labour Party was relegated into third place in the West Midlands - winning just one of six seats available - with the UK Independence Party capitalising on its loss.
The Conservative Party won two seats, as did Ukip. The Liberal Democrats took one.
Tories Phillip Bradbourn and Malcolm Harbour were elected, along with Ukip candidates Mike Nattrass and Nikki Sinclaire, Liberal Democrat Liz Lynne and Labour candidate Michael Cashman.
