Employers slam 'anonymous CV' idea from Lib Dems

Business leaders have slammed calls for firms to ask for anonymous CVs from job applicants. Proposals from the Liberal Democrats would mean jobhunters submitted CVs with just their national insurance number, while sending their names and addresses separately.
It would mean employers would invite applicants for an interview without knowing their gender or ethnic background. But Birmingham Chamber of Commerce condemned the proposal as another burden on employers.
