Accident leaves actress 'critical'
Actress Natasha Richardson is in a critical condition after a skiing accident in Canada, according to media reports.
People.com reported that the Tony award-winning actress and wife of actor Liam Neeson suffered a head injury on Monday and is in a Montreal hospital.
Richardson, 45, is the daughter of Vanessa Redgrave.
She and Neeson have two sons.
Richardson won a Tony award for best actress in a musical in 1998 for her role in Cabaret.
Her film credits include The Parent Trap and The Handmaid's Tale.
People.com said Richardson was initially taken to a hospital near the luxury Mont Tremblant ski resort in Quebec, and was later transferred to the Montreal hospital.
She married Neeson in 1994 after they both appeared in the film Nell.
