Winehouse in court over assault
Amy Winehouse sported a summery look as she appeared in court charged with common assault over an incident at a charity ball.
She smiled to a large crowd of photographers and reporters as she arrived at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court.
The 25-year-old singer is accused of assaulting a woman in Berkeley Square, Westminster, central London, on September 26.
Winehouse chose a colourful, floral outfit as well as her trademark beehive hair-do for her court appearance.
She has recently returned to Britain following a two-month break in the Caribbean.
On March 6, her spokesman said: "Amy voluntarily attended a police station in London yesterday morning.
"She was questioned by appointment in relation to an accusation made after the Berkeley Ball last year.
"She was charged with common assault and will attend a court hearing in the coming weeks."
