Warwick among universities to reject Government's offer of more science places

More than half of the UK’s top universities, including Warwick, have rejected the offer of extra student places for this autumn.
Ministers announced that it will make 10,000 additional places available for undergraduates studying science subjects.
But 11 research-intensive universities have refused the offer because the Government will not fund the extra teaching.
