An inquest is due to resume into the death of a Tipton woman believed to have killed herself after taking the life of her five-year-old son. The bodies of Emma Hart, 27, and her son, Lewis Dangerfield, were found at separate addresses on December 9 last year. A joint inquest will be held at Smethwick Council House. When the inquest was opened and adjourned in December, Detective Sergeant Graham Sanders, from West Midlands Police, told how Ms Hart was found with a wound to her wrist. It also emerged that she left three notes, one of which indicated she had killed Lewis. Post-mortem results showed that Ms Hart died of haemorrhaging, but pathologists were unable to confirm a cause of death for Lewis. In a statement released by police at the time, Lewis's father, Shaun Dangerfield, described his loss as "devastating". He said: "I cannot explain what has been taken away from me, mine and Lewis's family. "It can only be described as devastating. We would like our own private time to mourn the loss of such an amazing and extremely special little boy."He did nothing but make us smile."...
