Goldie's son in court charged with Wolverhampton murder
The 21-year-old son of dance music star Goldie has appeared in court charged with murdering a man in Wolverhampton.
Jamie Price was remanded in custody by magistrates in Wolverhampton accused of killing Marlon Morris in the city's Broad Street in August.
Price, of Long Ley, Heath Town, Wolverhampton, was ordered to appear for a plea and directions hearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court on January 2.
There was no application for bail during the five-minute hearing, at which Goldie, whose real name is Clifford Price, was not present.
Mr Morris, also aged 21, lived in the Pendeford area of Wolverhampton.
He died in hospital after suffering multiple stab wounds at about 3.30am on August 24 while on a night out with friends.
Speaking in September, Goldie told a national newspaper that he knew Mr Morris's father and he was devastated at the loss of someone's life.
