Man arrested after two pensioners attacked at home
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two pensioners were found seriously injured in their home.
The couple, a 77-year-old man and a 74-year-old old woman, were found with "multiple serious injuries" at a property in Leasowes Drive, Merry Hill, Wolverhampton, at 10.45pm on Thursday night, West Midlands Police said.
They both remain in a serious but stable condition in hospital. The 38-year-old man arrested is in police custody helping detectives with their inquiries.
