Top Birminigham hotel set to become wedding venue

One of Birmingham’s most luxurious hotels has been granted permission to use its premises for weddings.

Couples can now tie the knot in civil weddings and partnerships at Malmaison Hotel at the city’s Mailbox.

Managers at the hotel hope couples who have become engaged over the festive and New Year period will choose to have the nuptials at the venue, which boasts a brasserie, Champagne bar and a spa.
