Son of Goldie to face murder trial in August
The 21-year-old son of dance music star Goldie will stand trial in August charged with murder, Birmingham Crown Court has heard.
Jamie Price, of Long Ley, Heath Town, Wolverhampton, is alleged to have killed Marlon Morris, also aged 21, last summer.
Price, who pleaded not guilty at a previous hearing, was remanded in custody at Birmingham Crown Court following a 10-minute directions hearing.
Judge Robert Juckes QC fixed Price's trial, which is expected to last for up to 10 days, to begin on August 17 at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
Mr Morris died in hospital after suffering multiple stab wounds in the early hours of August 24 last year in Broad Street, Wolverhampton, while on a night out with friends.
