Three arrested after street brawl in Stourbridge
Three men have been arrested over a fight in Stourbridge which allegedly involved an axe and a machete.
One man was taken to hospital with a serious head injury after two groups of people, about 30 in all, clashed in the High Street in Lye.
The 26-year-old victim remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Two men, aged 24 and 25, were arrested on suspicion of wounding, while another 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon. All three remain in police custody.
Police believe weapons were used during the disturbance, including an axe and a machete.
